Ford Dealer (Maryland) notified of expired EV credit

In Maryland, trying to work a lease deal with the most stubborn dealership.

Anyway, he finally got back to me after 2 days, but also informed me that:

“I wanted to let you know, there is no longer an EV credit, the state is out of EV funds. If you do buy an EV vehicle they put you on a waiting list in case that money becomes available later.”

Not sure if you all are dealing with this or not, if in MD, but just on dealers response. I am in talks with 3 others, but will keep you updated as I can.

Anyone else get this response as we get closer to Sept 30?

Yes, I am talking to a dealer in Nebraska, Florida, and Oklahoma.

It was more of an awareness for the state of MD and trying to see if there were similar instances of it.

It doesn’t sound like they’re wrong.

They’re not claiming the Federal credit or incentives are gone early.

Maryland ran out of the $3000 credit

The $7500 US one is still there….for now
