Financing a Maxima, is it possible to sell?

Long story short : I leased a 2016 Maxima for 3 years, and decided to finance it at the end of lease. It’s got about 5k left on the financing and I was going to pay it off organically, but…

I’m in a position now where I desperately need an SUV and am considering selling it.

It’s a 2016 with only 23k miles on it, are there sites or brokers who make offers on actively financed cars, or am I better off paying it off, getting the title, and selling third party.

Looking for advice from the pros…

This still applies (except lease transfer)

There are entire separate threads on Carvana and Vroom. Use the search function first to see if your question has already been asked/answered, and it not feel free to refine your question here.

Yes - Login to see what the lease buyout is, and then compare it with what Carvana/Vroom/dealers will offer. Depending if you’re “up or down” it will determine if you need to pay something or if you get $$ to end early.

If you sell private title in hand is preferred. I would check the big car buying sites (carvana, vroom etc). They will payoff your loan and cut you a check for the equity if you have some. Many people are getting great offers from the car buying sites not as the used car market is doing really well right now.

So carvana has me at 17.5K , vroom 17.75k and kbb estimated value has me from 18-20K .

That’s surprisingly close considering it eliminates the title with NMaC component.

There are more buyers than just those two… AlGo, Shift, Carmax, Rodo, etc etc

Also consider 18-20k kbb value may not be what you actually get. If you have time for test drives and haggling, give private sale a shot. Those offers from the big box chains sound decent if you want to avoid the hassle
