Vehicle condition (accidents, tire wear, etc.), options, and other details: excellent condition aside from a little curb rash (pics coming) and bumper ding. I have a spare 18” wheel but haven’t installed it yet.

Car also has Lexus end protection, so you’re covered against excessive wear at turn in.

Photos: more coming.

Forgot to mention: current buyout is $29,933.26. That’s under the current private party price, so with the $2000 due to me, you will still not be upside down in this lease. Current KBB private party value is $31-35k

Purchase option at lease end is $20,085.

You’d probably net more by selling it and canceling the protection products.

Protection was $700. Worth a lot to a lessee.

Purchasing it will incur sales tax. So it’s best to keep the options open with a lease.

instead of doing all that hassle (purchasing, waiting for title, etc), I’d just sell it to Carmax/Carvana.

Hence, it’s a feeler to see if someone here wants a decent lease before I take it to them.

Yeah sell it to Maxvana

One offered $32,500 for a 2025 with 10k miles two weeks ago, and gas prices / EV valuations are higher now.

I just got my offer from carmax: $33k. I think that’s the answer. Plus cancel my protection plan for a refund.

Did you check more buyers? Max was not the highest as of two weeks ago.

How long do they take. I submitted end of last week and haven’t heard a peep.

Don’t wait that long for anyone. They snooze, they lose.

Take the highest offer before it expires.

Appt at carmax tomorrow (expire day)

I had to proactively reach back out to driveway. Then they sent the link for virtual picture taking. Not sure why that didn’t happen automatically right away.

They were $10,500 less than carmax

Carmax surprises sometimes

What about Carvana?

$31,000 is their offer

$33k is carmax

Try give me the vin, they beat all offers for my friend’s GX.

I was told by a Carmax employee that the deadline is a soft deadline, and that their main concern is less about time, and more about the number of miles you will put on as the days pass from when they make the original offer.

They gave me another week

They cared not about the wheel rash (I have a brand new wheel I can include but will now sell separately) and told me I can keep all accessories such as all weather mats and the level 2 240v charger.

I asked about added miles and she said not to worry about it.

Update: local Lexus dealer offered to match Carmax (actually, $33,300). So I will go that route.

When everything is done I will post a “How I hacked a Lexus RZ300e” thread to the forum.
