Hello hackrs, looking for some assistance here. I’m trying to extend my MB lease for 2 - 3 months, if possible. I called MBFS a month or two ago and they told me you could extend for 1 month, no questions asked, but any longer requires a pending order for a new MB. I just got off the phone with them today and, at least according to the rep I spoke to, they no longer offer even the 1 month extension. It’s either order a new car from MB, or no extension whatsoever. I could manage without a car for a month, but 2 or more will be tough.
I understand I may be out of luck, but does anyone have any tips here? Is it possible to get an exception to that rule? Is there anything I’m overlooking?
Otherwise, any ideas for a short term car rental for 2-3 months that won’t cost more than ~$600 month? Thanks!
