I hope someone can hack a Range Rover P550e with the EV $7,500. There has to be one dealer that wants to avoid bag-holding these into the post-$7,500 world.
Although with bullcrap like this… the P550e is going to join the G580 in the lot-anchor-corner.
I was talking to one salesperson, and he (and his dealership) was very sure something would be done to extend the EV credit because, as he said, it would all come crumbling down.
So I guess they (dealerships) are playing poker to try to call the administration’s bluff. But I don’t think the administration is even aware of this game with them
The way the Ohio Senator was speaking on the Car Dealership Guy podcast, there will be no extension. This administration is doing everything possible to move away from anything that isn’t a fossil fuel.
I’m under the same impression that there is a “cancel” process on all “green” EV, including wind farms.
And it’s not to turn this political, but practical - if there is no extension, I really want to hear from those at the dealership what the plan is. Especially on 2024 EVs that are still “brand new”
There are so many Demo’s and non Demos around me I would think gonna have to start doing something. Can’t see them sitting on that many 70-100k EV trucks come October.
