Looking into leasing a Hyundai Ioniq 9. We’re in the midwest (Michigan). I know I’m too late for the EV incentives which expired in September, but wondering if I’ll get laughed at if I make an offer like this to dealers:

That’s not terribly aggressive, and I bet some dealer would go for it. See these two other recent threads on Ioniq 9. November incentives should come out mid-week, so deal could change. Current incentive good through Nov 3.

Why would you get laughed at for offering 5% off MSRP?
Just seems like with a newer vehicle model, they may not need to offer anything off MSRP… but hopefully I’m wrong!
Thanks for the input! I looked through those threads as well but didn’t find much concrete information.
For what it’s worth, when I went in to test drive, the dealer was quoting ~$865/mo for an equivalent lease so this would be offering about 17% less than that.
