You’d think they would separate the line on the registration to explain why the fee is as high as it is.

SB1 added a $100 EV registration fee. The bulk of the cost is just high CA registrations that one would expect of any other $40k MSRP vehicle. It’s important to keep in mind that registration is proportional to the vehicle cost, not the lease cost.
