How reliable is Topanga station in Woodland Hills?

It CLOSED a few months ago-so no more H2 there :sad_but_relieved_face: but it was very reliable, no issues whenever I used to pump there…

This is just the software so it can be updated.
The cars these days are like Windows OS with those updated. LOL.

In the case of the EX90, it seems underpowered hardware has a role.

While other EV manufactures have had to upgrade their chips over time, none have had to do it as part of, essentially, a mandatory recall. Hopefully a learning experience for the EX60.

With Honda/Acura out of the EV market, how many pure EV car makers do we have (planning for my next EV) -

Tesla

Rivian

Polestar

BMW

GM/Cadillac

MB

Audi/VW/Porsche

Hyundai/Kia

Lucid

Only 3/8 of your list are “pure play”. You could add many brands that have an EV option and even Porsche on a 2 year delay assuming a CPO Macan, Taycan and eventually Cayenne lease.

True ..I am just having a hard time remembering the options with pure EV models…because after having my first EV, I am thinking I can’t go back to ICE.

I’ve realized that I prefer EVs with quick regen controls like some of the brands that have paddle shifters.

That ability to “downshift” is nice on hills and then to go to zero regen on the highway quickly is handy.

Any of the BMW EV’s are great at that, Just drop it into B for speedbrake action.

But the BMWs don’t have a quick way to adjust regen to multiple levels?

I think every EV should have at least 3 regen settings: normal, high (OPD) and none. And they should be switchable without having to use the touchscreen.

Light regen is the most efficient (really, coasting but that’s as close as it gets) but that’s what B is for when you need the OPD.

Don’t forget Lucid.

Volvo EX60 included in OSD!! This is awesome news and impressed that Volvo is committed to this experience, unlike sadly BMW which did away with ED (and even when available wasn’t comparable to the perks Volvo offered). I really hope Volvo sorted out the EX60 before the roll out and this isn’t another EX90/P3 disaster. I have high hopes for this car and would love to do OSD next summer

Always wondered how OSD worked. Is it a fixed discount? Or can it be utilized at any negotiated discount?

Shopping for a 3 row electric SUV to replace the Lucid Air. Here’s our list and thoughts so far

Lucid Gravity - overall nice package. Interior is impressive, tons of space. Exterior is subjective but the mini van looks don’t do it for me. I wish they would’ve just went all in and did sliding doors, it’d be a great family car. The software / bugs and iffy service gives me pause though so we’ll probably cross this off the list.

Volvo EX90 - Love the looks, inside is nice as well although I wish there were a few physical buttons instead of having everything on the screen. Also the toggle to control the front from back windows is silly. Love the quiet smooth ride and the bowers and wilkins audio is next to none. However reading the horror stories of software glitches and blown GHCA issues makes me cross off the 2025 for good, and probably not consider 2026 unless there’s amazing deals.

Cadillac Vistiq - Love the looks, like a baby escalade. Interior is decent. The base trim offers a lot of great standard features like the AKG sound system, soft close doors, massage seats. It drove nice, except the steering is kind of lazy. Another big con is no carplay / AA, but it’s something I can probably look past. I am bummed that the 2027 is removing soft close doors, but its not a deal breaker. Maybe in 2 months when I really need to get a car I’ll find a blow out 2026.

Lastly… Model Y L coming out later this year. Big pros would be it’s not as big so it should be easier to maneuver around. Assumed reliability with no major flaws (its just a stretched Y). Software works geat. Lastly FSD. Cons are the trunk space is small, it’s an NPC car (literally everywhere), and polarizing company.

I guess we’ll see what deals come in the next 2 months as that’ll be a big factor

Has anyone negotiated a GranTurismo/GranCabrio Folgore lately? I cannot determine if the $85,000 dealer cash publicized earlier this year is still available. How much of a dealer discount is feasible? I’m seeing 2025s on the ground and I think there is only around another 3 more months for lease support.

The GHCA issues aren’t limited to 2025s. And I don’t want to downplay the GHCA issues (overall very poor job by Volvo here), but FWIW it’s always hard to know what % of owners are actually impacted by this by scouring reddit. I’m on my 2nd EX90 lease, and haven’t had any GHCA issues, and really just some minor software stuff that has mostly stabilized. Just got into another 2025, and I’d have no hesitation getting into a third esp given the deals that can be had right now.

What’s the current deal can be had for EX90?

I’m thinking of getting the Maserati Gran Turismo Folgore in case the new Merc AMG GT EV isn’t being discounted steeply for a while. I have six months left on my AMG EQS. I talked to a Mas dealer and they knocked $100k off the $215k sticker just from a simple email to them. If I can get one all in for $700 a month plus payoff the rest of my Mercedes lease, I’d do it.

Thanks for the data point. Did they break down to you how much of the discount was comprised of incentives versus dealer discount?

Anyone know if any brokers here currently handle Maserati?
