My husband is considering an EV for his next lease. He currently has a Buick Envision Avenir ending in December.
The Cadillac Optiq caught his eye so far, but is there any possibility to be sub-500 (no money down except first month payment) for any EV lease in Chicagoland (located about 1 1/2 hours away from Chicago). Even Tesla isn’t off the table right now. He does not want a base model of any vehicle though.
What’s your sales tax rate?
I believe it’s 8.75%.
maaaaybe a honda prologue touring (mid-tier) FWD. even bigger maybe on the optiq, but doubful unless it’s a previous loaner, and even then I just got quoted about 750 for top tier previous loaner. a 2026 Ioniq 5 SEL RWD would be what i’d target (mid-tier and last year’s model), but i understand it’s a tough market for those. their september lease programs start on the 9th, so check then to see what incentives look like. i have a 2024 SEL AWD (lease about to end) and i’ve loved it.
