It doesn’t make sense to get out of the lease early only to avoid the registration, but it would make sense if you are on the verge of needing tires and/or brake pads and you want to avoid any servicing taking place in months 37-39.
Just call and ask
Their formal appraisal takes about 30 minutes to assess the condition of the car.
They can just check auction numbers and see the car is $10k negative.
It makes ZERO sense for them to appraise it.
I will call and ask and see if I can do the inspection early.
Now I am seeing so many awesome deals through this site that is making it really hard to want to stay with Infiniti for another lease term.
I also recall getting a wear & tear protection plan built in to the lease but of course IFS had no record of it so I have to get a hold of the dealer.
Really glad I found this site and appreciate everyone’s feedback so far.
Let’s see what the inspection says and how much coverage I have, I know you can also negotiate the final charges and stretch them out with monthly payments if necessary so it might not be too bad.
Look at your paperwork. That is the final word.
Where you able to get out the lease early by paying off the remaining months? I don’t want to get charged early termination fee for 4 moths
I paid the last month and kept the car for about a week or so before the lease ended.
Turned it in with 29k on the clock, there was $0 in chargeable wear according to the inspection.
I also got them to take half off the disposition fee due to some shadiness by the dealer I went to turn the car in to.
Glad I am done with that Q50, I’d probably never do a 39 month lease again and I wouldn’t advise it
But I’m trying to get rid of the car cause I’m over miles and don’t want to keep driving the car an extra 4 months, And what I don’t want Is the car being at a auction.
Some of the representatives at IFS say I could do the payments and some say I can’t so I’m really confused and don’t want to end up with a early termination fee
