Have 7 months left on my 42 month lease. $350 a month. I’ve been overpaying so I only owe about $1200. Looking at purchasing a new vehicle (not a Chrysler) and dealer got buyout amount on the lease. My question is does that include the money I still owe? Or will Chrysler Financial hit me with that and the early termination fee? No problem keeping the car- but if I can get out of it for just the termination fee its worth it as I’ll most likely have to put tires on before trading in in the winter. Thanks in advance. Just want to make sure I’m not making a terrible decision.
The buy out amount is the price for you to walk away free and clear.
