Downside of leasing a demo/loaner?

I’ve gotten things replaced before delivery on loaners like wheels with really ugly curbing, deep scrapes on door handles, cracks forming in the windscreen.

Nasty cologne baked into the driver seatbelt. Worse than any farts ‘cause the stuff transfers to your lapel.

In CA on a demo/lease the vehicle already comes registered, so you don’t pay registration at inception. That can work favorably on a 39 month lease as well (in CA it’s generally best just to skip the 39 month option on a new vehicle due to the extra registration).

Got a great deal on a loaner a couple of weeks ago. The car had a curbed rim and a small ding. The dealer took care of both after I mentioned them. Otherwise, the car looked perfect, and I saved thousands over the term of the lease.

How is the mileage on a fart car being calculated lets say I do a 36/12 for a total of 36000 miles. The fart car has 3000 miles on it at the beginning of my lease, does it mean I can only drive 33000 miles in my lease?

No, you still drive 36,000 and return with total allowed 39,000 miles
