Downpayment and Car Totaled

Hi,
I was wondering what happens if I pay the taxes in the downpayment. I understand that the downpayment is lost if the car is totaled during the lease.

Is it the same if I pay the taxes in advance (in GA), instead of rolling them into the monthly payment? Or will I get tax refund?

Every state is different, you’d have to research Georgia’s Tax Department to see if you are untitled to a prorated refund.

It’s the same roll it in the payments if possible.
