Anyone here tried lease the the new Honda Insight? Really interested in this car as a daily commuter, however dealers have so few of them available that the prospect of leasing one let alone finding a deal is slim to none. So far I did some research and it looks like the Insight is not eligible for any incentives since its not a PHEV. Also none of the Honda savings apply since its a 2019 as well.
If you want one, you’ll pay dearly for it. It’s that simple (but it seems like you realized that with your research).
All Hondas lease poorly. This one probably even more so. An equivalent Hyundai Ioniq would, I’d guess, save you upwards of $75-125/month.
I might just go with a Hyundai or Kia since I have my own reservations about keeping something that is designed to fail after a certain amount of charges which will also cost a large sum of money to fix. And I can’t see myself driving around in something that looks like a Prius. Thanks.
