I notice that many brands have specials this month that end on January 2. Does this mean you can possibly still get good deals on January 2? I realize that dealers are trying to meet year end goals, and wonder if sales on January 2 count towards 2017 year end goals.
I’m also very interested in knowing the answer to this question as there would definitely be a tax benefit for me if I can buy on January 1st or 2nd as my taxes are going up big time next year
I was wondering the same and talked to a guy a few days ago (who seemed pretty honest) that said all the programs run til the 2nd, however, all their year end quotas end on December 31st. So if they have units to push, it will be done this month.
That explains why my dealer begged me to come and sign before 31st after I told him that I was sick and would come and sign on Jan 2. It was not my first car with them and they knew I wouldn’t play games.
Tax tear ends 12/31/17. Year end promotion(s) ends 1/02/18
Dealer may need deals to close out the tax year. Or dealer may need to include the year end promotions.
Also for what it’s worth, I noticed a Chevy advertisement this morning that stated deals end on 1/1/2018.
