Do you rent a car or use your leased vehicle on long trips?

I’ve never even considered renting for long trips. I pay for 2 nice cars, our 2017 Pilot that is financed and my 2019 Tacoma which is leased. Cars are meant to be driven. You might go over miles on your lease. Either you pay the leasing company or the rental company.

Enterprise/National include free supercharging with Tesla rentals.

Yeah this is a big caveat. If you have access to a top level program through prior travel or credit cards it makes renting more appealing. With national exec elite I have had good luck getting either a nice car or a large SUV for 70ish bucks a day.

In the before times I would often drive up to NYC for weekend and park on street. I much prefer National and Chase taking care of the wear and tear (and occasional bang) that those trips entailed.

One week of credits is included. If anyone is looking to transfer (t&s say you can’t ‘sell’ them as they are transferrable) I’m looking for some more!

I get additional miles on the family car for road trips. I also compare mileage overage charges against rental cost.
