Do you de-badge your car?

I used to see this a lot on the BMW forums where people would remove the model badge from the rear.
There was always those that said they did it because they said it looked “cleaner”.
Whereas others argued against that saying those that did it only did it to hide a lower level car model.
I always thought the “cleaner” argument was BS, because I bet that same person would never de-badge their “M” if they had one. But maybe I’m wrong.

I never did it myself because I always thought it made it look bland, and not clean.

  • Wait, what, that’s a thing?

I voted no (as this is geared more for daily drivers/appliances), but on my project/show cars i always do.

I’ve never modified any of my cars, so this would be the last thing I could imagine worrying about. That being said, I’m stoked that the Model 3 doesn’t have any badging besides the Tesla logo. I do think it looks super clean this way.
