Discount beyond invoice and MF at buy rate?

I’ve been talking to a few MB dealers and they’re all a bit different in their own way, so I’ve got a few questions for those who might know.

  1. When working with MB dealers, how far below invoice will they be willing to go on a lease?
  2. If you’ve got the buy rate, and w/ auto pay and MSD you end up below this buy rate, how often have you been able to get them to move down to or near initial buy rate BEFORE auto pay and MSDs? One dealer in particular absolutely will NOT budge on MF - it’s been the same since we started negotiating.

I think it depends on the model. If it’s on a GLC, the dealers have all the power and wont really need to move anywhere close to invoice and can ask for marked up MF. On an E-class, they want to move volume and are more willing to give big discounts and buy rate MF.

Good point - I’m hovering around the AMGs. C (43 and 63) and the CLA (45). The E seemed fairly easy to discount.

AMGs are not volume vehicles, so it’ll be hard to get great deals on them.
