Hard to say. I dont know what/if there were purchase only incentives. This very well could be the exact same dealer discount that was originally negotiated.
He isn’t showing a discount. If MSRP at 33 he paid 2K over leasing. Maybe he did have a discount in place if the 35 was truly OTD on a purchase. He hasn’t been back here but hopefully back to dealer to see about goodwill or buying out and cancelling care package.
A negotiated sales price was never discussed, so the same dealer discount could easily be no dealer discount in either situation.
If it’s Honda it’s 99% guaranteed their incentives go towards purchase/finance customers.
Yes. Especially if they advertised it somewhere for msrp. I settled 2 lawsuits with dealers for new body range rovers and one was with massive lawyer fees on top of all the extra money back over msrp.
