Did I miss the x7 deals?

I happen to be on the east coast (nj) and felt exploratory to look for local deals. x7 always looked appealing and it felt like had plenty of deals going around just a month ago. now that I am looking can’t seem to find what I need with below minimum requirements:

  • х7 м50i
  • exterior color: black, white, blue, grey
  • interior: anything other than brown metallic ash grain wood, fineline stripe brown high gloss wood, anthracite brown poplar matte wood
  • options: cold weather package, executive package, driving assistance professional package

If anyone knows how to use search better than me I would appreciate pointers.

The best I got so far is:
$0 down 1437 per month NJ tax included, 36 months and 10k miles. 104k msrp which doesn’t sound competitive at all :frowning:

Too small. I am 6’5’’ and have two kids with car seats.

Have you considered X5? I too am 6’5" and find the X5 to be a good fit for my long legs with some room in the back.

You must not have car seats. Being that tall with little kiddos, X7 is only option for bmw suv. X5 has a lot less room in back

Are these exclusively rear-facing child seats? I’ve sat in the front seats of Civics with child seats in the back and fit fine.

No need to overbuy a car.

If you want any type of deal, you need to look at the 40i. The M50 has low inventory and high demand. There are 44 M50s for sale in the country vs 1,674 40s.

Agreed unless for some odd reason you need to go 0-60 fast in a barge. But I’ll never understand the point of large engine unibody large SUVs. Use the extra cash from the deal to buy yourself a sport car.

Gotta get the Sunday morning adrenaline somehow and there were deals to be had on these guys in the past, but the current market conditions just don’t work well.

I never understood this. If it isn’t in the budget then so be it, but if my wife told me I can’t buy a sports car because she doesn’t like it, I would be a newly single man.

Getting off topic. If I can’t get a steal deal what’s the best people seen that can at least beat my current offer by 2-3k, which should be pretty easy.

Morristown seems to have a decent number of X7s in stock, so if you’re perhaps willing to look at the 40i, that might be worth exploring. Only 4 m50i’s.

Civic has same rear legroom as X5 on paper, but that doesn’t tell the whole story. Forward facing child seats can fit in any car, being very tall with rear facing seats can pose an issue if you want to maintain safe recommended distance between front seat back to prevent contact to the child seat and be comfortable.

Yes. I messaged and filled out inquiry forms of all brokers but none of them got back to me - surprise surprise :slight_smile:

Today is the last day of July for most car brands. They’re probably finishing up deals and waiting for new numbers tomorrow / later this week.

Be patient. As someone stated, the end of the month is one of the busiest times for brokers and car dealers. Give them a few days to get back to me.

I had to look this up because I couldn’t believe it… the X5 really only has an extra inch of legroom over the 2004 Civic I’m referring to…
