Dealership called saying there was a mistake on my one pay contract and wants me to sign a new one

No, I get it now because he originally didn’t have first sheet attached…just wondering why single payment total went from 3 to 5.7 on his original contract.

While its weird its showing that, its still the same point. The single payment of $5.7k still isnt the cash that was due. This was a $7100 single pay made up of a $5700 single payment plus other taxes and fees. The original page that was posted never said anywhere how much was due.

I don’t think you are understanding what I’m saying…on his sheet marked ‘old contract’ it has total single payment of 3034…then on the last page he sent it shows single payment of 5695…I’m saying why isn’t that field a carryover of the 3034? I mean it is calculated on the one page and then different on the other. Those two pages were in the same contract.

I suspect theyre different contract versions. The $3k one shows a $12+k cap cost reduction. The $5700 one shows a $10k cap cost reduction. Seems to even out roughly with where money is applied.

He said it was the first page of old contract so the single pay figures should match. Oh well.

If this is the first time OP has ever seen this (and isn’t a regular here), I can understand why someone might be a little freaked out.

OP, everyone seems to have pretty consistent advice on the matter.

You are pretty good at this whole being a MOD thing. Sometimes we forget that not everyone is in the industry

I bet it pays well too. Lol!

I’ll admit I was a little harsh, but the “amount to be paid in cash” and “total” lines should be fairly obvious for anyone. Glad you have some good advice now OP!
