Deal Complete 2021 Audi Etron NorCal

Hey Folks,

Trying to structure a deal to get my wife an Etron Premium Plus black on black. I want to reach out to some dealers in the Bay Area to see if they can support this deal, but want to validate it with the community first to see if my numbers even make sense and where i should make adjustments before reaching out.

Thanks in advanced, we have never leased or financed a vehicle before but credit score is over 750.

Not saying you will have issues… but honestly don’t be surprised if you have some hurdles. Part of leasing is not only about the monthly payment and your credit score. It’s do you have the history to support the financial transaction - in this case, the lease of a $70+k asset. The credit score is only one factor. If you search LH, you will see that there have been multiple stories of folks with liquidity, scores, etc. but they still do not qualify for the lease in question. The first is always the hardest but once you cross that, it’s a lot easier. Glwt

Its going to be no problem with 750 credit. You are also assuming the OP never had any other loan/mortgage.

A mortgage is one thing. An auto lease is another. In any case, it’s a moot point and OP is more than welcome to share his experience with all. Everyone’s situation is unique and this was just one POV based on LH posts. YMMV. No assumptions, or presumptions. As mentioned, GLWT

Seems like a good deal for such a high MSRP Etron. Personally, I’d rather roll the entire upfront amount into the monthly payment, but do max MSDs.

Interesting I did not think I can roll the entire upfront into the monthly so are you saying it will be a $0 drive-off?

Yes, you can roll everything into the monthly.

Thanks for the feedback would keep everyone posted how this goes we do have a mortgage, but totally understand its a different kettle of fish.

Good to know will certainly share how things go in the coming days.

Yes, you can, but most of us don’t like to pay interest on taxes, dealer and DMV fees which is why driveoffs up front. With max MSDs, perhaps if effective MF is low enough.

The biggest issue you will face is probably lack of inventory. The aggressive dealers sold out of their Premium with Convenience Plus package and not many PP or Prestige in stock. Costco and the Audi incentives made the Q5e and eTrons move this month.

Reach out to @Audigirl and @AudiCarGirl4U if you are in northern CA. Historically, Audi Livermore has done some pretty solid deals if you make the right connection.

Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback I do see that inventory is moving quite quickly, although we don’t really need a car until summer, worried that if we wait it will be slim pickings.

with semi-conductor shortages and shut down on the production lines, I would imagine the squeeze is coming. (pure speculation on my part)

Can someone help me check these numbers I cant seem to get these numbers to work something seems off:

It’s not off, here’s your calculator to the dollar. The original etron deals in California are $3800 DAS, ~$350 a month. Your deal is almost $200 more a month with similar DAS.

You’re looking for a pre-incentive discount in the ~10% or more range, 10 MSD’s and… $0-3800 in DAS. Looks like there have been a deal or two with zero DAS but seems to be fewer deals in the last week (maybe an inventory thing).

Might want to go the broker route or reach out to Audi dealers (many of both in the marketplace), since there’s not much time left till month-end.

Got it so they capitalized upfront tax and fees and simply have $2953 as down payment.

Still better than some of the other marketplace deals I saw from other dealers with $3900 DAS and $499+Tax.

Not sure I can get any greater pre-incentive discount due to low inventory floating around.

That one was for a sport back, not the suv. The incentives differ by thousands of dollars. It isn’t comparable.

How would you rate the deal I was offered above?

You’re right fair point

Back of the napkin… it’s off by about $3k in pre-incentive discount.
And that’s with leaving the DAS as it is now, though there may be room for a lower DAS too.
