I’ve seen a number of posts on the Vistiq, but haven’t seen any on a Platinum yet. I’ve been working this dealer for a few weeks, and making progress, but not sure how much farther they will go. I’m relatively new to leasing, and while I’m financially and mathematically inclined, would appreciate an opinion on this deal.

There is a reason. There is a 5% lower residential from the luxury or sport trims. Select a different trim or find a different vehicle. Also do you really need to the 15k (I really hope your electricity is cheap) as it’s a 2% hit from 12k?
Just curious – What feature(s) in Platinum do you think is worth the extra dough? IMO even the poverty spec is pretty well equipped and I couldnt justify going up. The effective monthly will be significantly lower than this. Like half the cost. Even lower if you can find a loaner.

Appreciate the responses. This is going to sound silly, but the only reason we’re interested in the Platinum is aesthetics. Love the way it looks when lowered on air suspension, and you can only get the brown interior with the Platinum. We were willing to pay a premium for this, but not this much of a premium.
The dealer isn’t willing to move any further, so we’re walking away and will need to find something else.
