Its not a zero drive off deal.
If thats the case, the monthly payment might make sense.
Yes and no, sign and drive would be 35 payments, listing 36 payments DAS would be first month.
OP: Ask the dealer what DAS and monthly is in terms of $$$.
Sure, i have asked him and waitinf for his response.
Thank you all for the responses.
Are you saying that a sign and drive deal will show the terms on the left as 35 months instead of 36? I’ve never seen any worksheet formatted that way.
Sign and drive just means the 1st month payment is capped.
You’re probably correct. But there’s first month DAS and 0 DAS, the screen shot is bogus showing 0 DAS and then tell OP first month is inception. That’s why OP needs to confirm DAS and monthly.
That’s just not nearly enough on these overpriced EVs with extremely limited buyer pools.
Look at how much money Mercedes and Audi had to ultimately throw at them. BMW will have to as well.
They’re actually quite reasonable and in many instances fall under the 1% benchmark which other model leases fail to meet nowadays.
I’ve written a couple of X3’s just this last week where the lease was within earshot of an iX payment.
That’s not a benchmark at all. No one in their right mind is paying 1% for any of these overpriced EVs including those from Mercedes and Audi.
And if someone wants to get off by bragging about percentages then the EQS is the king of that particular flex. It’s sub 0.7%, maybe sub 0.6% for some people.
Still outliers in a world of averages closer to 1%.
I was pointing out that in a value proposition with other models it excels given its actual usable range and curious ability to avoid phantom drain in between drives.
I thought the BMW response was supposed to focus on sustainable battery production. You know, those other brands using that blood cobalt.
