Deal Check- Ioniq5 SEL AWD in Norcal

can you link the Leasing 101 thread you are referring to?

I’d like some feedback on this deal in Norcal. 36 month, 36,000 miles. MSRP: 50,350. $1538 dealer discount. Selling Price $48,812. $7500 rebate. 9.25% taxes. 00216MF and 58% residual. Zero Drive Off. 35 Payments of $624.

This is the first deal I’ve received with nothing to drive off the lot and everything else rolled into 35 payments. Not sure how normal that is.

48k? Wow a bare bones EV6.

For 624 there is still meat on that bone, In So Cal this is $52k/$600, and I assume there is some NorCal rebates?

Not sure exactly what you are asking. Are there other Norcal rebates I should ask for? Since its only 35 payments if it was calculated for 36 that would be $607 a month. Norcal Kia dealers just don’t seem to want to provide many discounts on the EV6.

Try to get it near these payments

Is that 36 payments of $600 or 35?

It’s 35. Nothing upfront

Thanks. I’m being told that is the absolute best they can do, so I plan to pass. Thanks for you input!

They can do better, they just playing you

Hypothetically if I said something like “I can do $1000 drive off and $500 a month” where else can things go sideways for the dealer to make money? Why not just shop for leases that way in general and see who bites? Or can there be hidden charges or terms that can screw you out of money in the end?

Sorry I’m not sure what you are asking. At the end of the day it’s the total costs that matters like $1000 + 35 * $500 = $514 effective per month. Do your research here and see what the lowest price is and make an offer to the dealer. Good luck!

Guess what I meant to ask is if the $1000 + 35 payments of $500 is in writing, don’t have to worry about other numbers the dealer throws in the lease. Just sign and be done.

Thanks for the lease sample. If I have found a Wind AWD that is $3600 higher in MSRP than your sample, and approximating $30 for every thousand in terms of a monthly payment increase, would a zero down $689 payment be an even better deal than the one you shared?

689 sounds about right. It’s the same discount of $10500 on a 56k.
And not 0 DOWN, 0 Due at signing, very different.

Oops, that’s what I meant. Zero drive off $689. Good to know that’s a solid deal.

That’s pretty close to a gv60 perf

I’m looking at a GV60 Performance for $658, so it’s actually OVER

What is the GV60?

The Genesis version of the EV6…the Performance goes 0-60 in 4 seconds…so the EV6 GT
