Deal Check: ID.4 Pro

Looking for lease advice in Seattle:

ID.4 Pro
Demo with 1,400 miles
Cap cost: $39,499 with $7,500 credit
Cap cost reduction: $2,827
RV: 54% ($26,887)
Lease terms: 36/10
Monthly payment: $499 + tax

Thanks!

What’s the MSRP? Is this AWD or RWD? Are you actually putting $2827 down in addition to inceptions? What’s the total DAS? First time I’ve seen a demo unit ID4 for lease. This should be interesting.

Just FYI, a California broker posted this - July 2023 Kia/Volkswagen/Mazda Specials!- ADVANCED AUTO - #21 by Advanced_Auto - $443/mo with $2.5k DAS on an ID4 Pro RWD. Not sure if they service WA, but it might be worth a call or text.

MSRP: $49,791
AWD, sorry missed that, important!!
This offer for $499/month includes $2,827 down (cap cost reduction). Total DAS is $6k.
$0 down ($3,173 DAS) goes to $588/month + tax

Total Due At Signing $6,000

  • First Payment $499
  • Lease Acquisition Fee * $699
  • Capitalized Cost Reduction * $2,827
  • Estimated Registration & Fees $885
  • sales tax $1,090

That looks a little high. For a demo, I would think that they can give much more of a discount. If you look at the CA broker deals, the $49k ID4 Pro AWD is going for $529+tax with only $2500 DAS, and that’s on a new unit. Unfortunately, CA brokers don’t post discount off MSRP, but even just comparing the monthly and DAS, you can definitely do better. On a demo, you should be able to do even better than the broker deal.

Thanks! I’m heading there in a bit will try to work them down more.

When that other post says $2,500 DAS, does that include $0 cap cost reduction, or is the $2,500 a cap cost reduction?

Would asking them to do $499/month with $0 cap cost reduction be reasonable or is that pushing too far for this car?

$2500 DAS is out the door - typically just covers tax, title, registration, taxes, and taxes can be a lot because most incentives are taxed. I don’t think asking $499/mo with 0 cap cost reduction on a demo is unreasonable.

Update: Got them to $46,500 before $7,500 credit. $531/month with $0 down. Thoughts?

I would say that’s good enough. I would probably take it
