Well, that big of a MF mark up would definitely contribute to why this is so expensive. That mark up is costing you $3-4000
you must be in a state where sales taxes is on the entire selling price ~ $3438.
if it got rejected- walk away and learn from this scenario.

Your effective monthly payment is about 1200 after you account for what you paid out of pocket.
Your payment would be $996.20. $6500/36=180.55. $996+180=$1,176. Close enough to a $1200 effective payment.
