Deal check/evaluation on 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Willys

What is your target deal based on? If you can input the data into the LH calculator and email it to dparysz@centleasing.com, I’ll see if I have a store willing to do it.

How much dealer discount is required to get you there?

Thanks I sent it. That is bare minimum where I’d like to be but I’d rather be closer to $350. Another dealer locally was advertising $299 with $299 due on a 4xe Willys (probably before tax)

About 33.08% off of the the $60,219 MSRP assuming money factor is at .00363

Gets me $351 in the calculator but this may not account for tax on rebates

For what it’s worth, the $17,600 in rebates is not considered a discount but applied as a cap cost reduction which is taxed in the state of CO. That alone will add $1,443 to your total DAS (assuming 8.2% tax rate).

Yeah I found that out tonight at the dealer and was unaware of that. Would you say that $350-$375 OTD is unrealistic?

What dealer discount is required to get you there?

I believe about 6-7% off MSRP but I know 8-10% has been possible.

That isn’t what he meant…if you have the data in the calc you can tell what selling price/discount is needed to get to that target payment…and whether it is realistic or not.

I answered further up to their question and said 33.08% off MSRP of $60219 but possibly not accounting for tax on rebates. Then he asked again and said “dealer discount” so I assumed he wanted to know what is the dealer’s portion of the discount not including rebates. Is there a different figure they are asking for?

Way easier for people to help if you post your calc link for review…then it makes more sense.

Fair enough. Would still like to be lower but this is minimum of what I would like

As was mentioned before, redo the calculator with the discount off MSRP and rebates separately. They’re different from each other and impact the final payment.

Separate your rebates out from selling price and put in taxed incentive field.

Ah I totally missed that field :person_facepalming:. Seeing a little more clearly now that dealer discount is only 2.77% and I’d like to see more off msrp

Yep…the calc is simple yet powerful (but needs to have accurate data for meaningful output)…and at some stage you will want to fill in dealer fees and govt/reg/title fees, etc so you can manage your DAS too.

PS, also make sure you understand down is not DAS…but some dealers use down as DAS which can alter payment amounts.

Indeed! I just wanted to get a rough draft of what is realistic. I’m trying not to be unreasonable but I feel like this should be a cheap lease if we’re talking about low mileage and $17,600 in rebates but interest kills the deal so I’ll need more off MSRP.

Are you open to any other vehicles?

I asked again because you didnt answer the question.

Im asking the question because answering it correctly requires you to put together a functional calculator that allows you to properly compare the required discount against what is actually possible to see if the numbers youre talking about are realistic or an impossibility. Not accounting for tax rebates means the post-incentive discount you listed is a number of no value since it doesn’t actually represent anything.

Yes anything with 4x4/AWD and good ground clearance (maybe 9+ inches or more)
