Looking at a Lyric - Lux 2 AWD, dealer demo with 1400 miles.

Dealer offering $503/mo with $3800 DAS (this feels very high to me). We have:

  1. Conquest
  2. Costco
  3. GM Supplier

I’m VERY new to this game and I’ve called a lot of dealers. This is the best deal that I’ve gotten but again, the DAS still feels very high compared to others that I’ve seen on this site. This is better than the LUX 1’s that we’ve gotten. A local dealership wanted $650/mo with $2800 DAS (that was with a test drive).

$74k. That’s a dealer demo with 1400 miles on it. I don’t need the Lux 2, but it was a better deal than the Lux 1. Thanks for reinforcing that the DAS was way too high.

The higher trim levels DO NOT lease as well as the base model. So make sure you’re doing apples to apples comparisons on trim levels when it comes to DAS and monthly payment. If you’re comparing different trim level deals about the only thing you can get out of that is trying to replicate the dealer discount. Residual Values are not as good on the higher trim level models. That’s why you see good leases on the base trim…relatively high residual…higher trim levels lower residual…hence higher DAS and or payments

Luxury 2 rwd has the worst lease numbers out of all trims offered
