Those numbers he gave you are based off of MSRP. Did you reference their internet price?
I didnât. My guess is he would say it is for financing, it leasing.
Theyâre pretty specific that the discount applies to everyone and they separately identify the incentives. Iâd push back on it.

That dealer discount should apply to anyone. Just have to mention it. Theyâre gonna start off at msrp otherwise.
Just to show you, this was a purchase at the end of May for an Acadia. Their advertised discount was $4,500 off MSRP and I added GM supplier ($500) and got another $600 off on top of it. Plus all the rebates of course.

I didnât email them, I called and told them I see the online price etc and thatâs what they came back with. The Acadia I wanted they didnât even have, they had to get on a dealer trade from a dealership down in Fort Myers. We agreed on the numbers, they got the car, and I drove down from Orlando to pick up the vehicle and sign the remaining paperwork.
I ended up doing a deal with Dixie Buick in Ft Myers. Most likely the same place they got your car from since they are a GMC dealer as well. No dealer fee either. Picked up a 2022 Encore GX Essence instead of the 2021 Envision. Was in and out in 30 minutes.
Those Encores are way more fun to drive than people think. What made you go with the Encore over the envision
I donât know. The deal on an Envision I had went away and so I inquired about the Encore. My wife loves the car. I blind bought it never test driving it. She drove it home from the dealer and really loved it.
Great features.
The Envision I was looking at was the Preferred and I just didnât want cloth seats and the cost of an Envision Essence was a little more than I wanted to pay.
Itâs only been a day but pretty happy with it.

I had a loaner Encore GX for a week. I was very impressed with it. Had a loaner loaded Envision for a week, and while it was nice car, not sure if it had the Value.
As long as youâre happy thatâs all that matters.
