I got a quote to lease a 2021 Q5 Premium yesterday. First time leasing and I’m not sure if this is a good deal or not. What does everyone think? Lease market is Chicagoland area.

It’s an insanely bad deal, but it’s a horrible time to lease or buy. Since it’s your first time leasing and the market is horrible, I would highly recommend working with a lease broker. The $500 or so you will spend on them will save you thousands over the 36 month lease.

Are you in Chicago proper or just in the general area?

Gotcha. Chicago proper charges essentially double tax on leases, making leasing there a non-starter imo. If you’re in the suburbs, at least you don’t have to deal with that hurdle.

Was thinking about offering $575 a month with nothing down to a handful of dealers and see how that shakes out. Any thoughts on that?

What are you basing you $575 price on? What pre-incentive discount is required to get you there?

That is ballpark 8-10% off MSRP I think.

You’ll probably have to go through a broker for any meaningful discount in today’s market. You may also have to be open to shipping.
