go for it. I actually like the car much more than I thought I would. Test drove it in the summer when I just started shopping and it felt too plush for my taste. Today I put it in sport and this things can move with grace ![]()
What did you find out? I’m looking at the same car in a different market
Waiting on a couple more quotes, but will update after. Was offered a $4,000 dealer discount today along with all rebates, waiting to get it written out. This is for a base luxury, but the jump from luxury → premium luxury is going to be pretty much $400/mo from what I’m seeing, so not worth it.
Wow that much? Just because dealers don’t want to discount premium luxuries as much?
This is what my dealer has pitched me on a premium luxury
MSRP: $60,750
Discount: $6,364 (GM employee + market incentive)
Adjusted price: $54,385
Processing: $995
Tax: $2,415
Non-tax Fees: $217
Balance: $59,012
Lease terms:
36 months/10k miles
$792/mo with zero down
MF: .00204
Residual: $36,450
This is my first lease so I have no idea if this is a fair deal. As far as I know the dealer is not discounting the car at all, perhaps because of Employee pricing but I also haven’t asked because I wanted to sort the employee pricing first… I was hoping the payment would be closer to $600-$650
Oh nice! Are you a GM employee, then? Can also see if they’ll add conquest (if someone in the house has some sort of 2012 vehicle) and perhaps the $500 gm credit card offer if its something you wanted to do.
Currently I’m at (with an msrp of $57,330) $795/mo for 24 months with 15/yr mileage. In comparison, I’m seeing $320-$360 a month for Luxury trim leases. As much as I want ventilated seats and the HUD, I can’t justify such an increase. Worth $50/mo for me maybe, but not $400 more a month. I could prob finagle the $795/mo down some more, but not sure as of yet.
