Have been looking at snagging an Optiq or similar EV for a couple of weeks now and have come across this deal. Trying to compare and determine if it’s actually decent or not. I have another local $3,000 rebate that I can’t get the dealer to provide quite yet, so I am not including it in the below.
I believe you can push for more discount on pr lux. Btw saw 1k conquest on the Cadillac website, you may need to double check with the dealer on the oct program.
What programs? I should have access to all of the ones I mentioned:
$3500 Myfirstev (California, so coveredh
$1000 supplier discount (Already have a code in my hand from a GM friend)
$3500 “dealer discount”: Not sure if this is something normally offered. Wasn’t mentioned to me before, however
$2,000 conquest/competitive cash allowance. This seems to have gone down to $1,000 today, but will check with the agent.
The $3000 additional rebate I have is only valid on cars with a cash price of $50k before taxes. It makes no mention of rebates, so waiting on getting clarity from the energy team so I can push the dealer on this. If I could get them to go under $50k, it would be doable.
I meant I didn’t have access to the programs. Again, your breakdown shows that you received little, if any, discount off MSRP, aside from rebates/incentives.
I assume you did not get the offer today? You may want to ask dealers to rerun numbers since Oct program can change.
Regarding % off msrp, 6-7% was not hard in Sep and 8-10% is doable I believe. The market can be different with the gas price hike over the last few days.
Cadillac lease pricing for the luxury trim isn’t too bad. I wouldn’t consider a GM EV otherwise, coming from a Model Y. I used to own a Bolt EUV and enjoyed it at the time.
there really aren’t many EV options nowadays to choose from. I signed a '27 optiq premium lux awd myself yesterday, and overall pretty happy with the numbers and the car so far.
don’t have the contract in front of me, so have to go by memory, but 60k sticker and a little over 7% off before incentives, $275 in fees (NY doc/reg). Monthly is 633 for a 24/10k, DAS was 1000, which included 1st payment, doc fees and a ~100 to get the credit card rebated. Total incentives were 5,000 (2,000 conquest, 1,500 dealer cash, 500 GM CC, and 1000 GM supplier). I could probably have pushed for a bit more off MSRP, but they had the color I wanted (blue) and the GM was very transparent and easy to work with.
