Deal Check - 2026 X5 50e - New - DMV - First Payment DAS - No MSD

, ,

This is the first time we’ve leased in a while, so any advice is appreciated. We are considering the 36 and 39 month programs.

I thought we had agreed with the dealer to use the base money factor, but when I enter the numbers in the calculator, the dealer numbers come out about $50/month higher.

Located in Virginia:

2026 BMW X5 50e (new)

MSRP: $90,050

Selling Price: $79,244

Discount: $10,806

Rebates: $2,000

Total Savings: $12,806

Term: 36/39 months

Mileage: 10,000/yr

Residual: 51%

Money Factor: .00165?

MSD: No

Fees:

Acquisition: $925

Dealer/Delivery: $800

DMV: $270

Virginia Tax: $3,332

Due at Signing: First month only

Monthly Offer From Dealer: $1201 (39 mo) / $1320 (36 mo)

I get $1,204/mo with 1st month due on a 39/10k term using 10% off and buy-rate, so basically, your deal is the equivalent of 10% off and buy rate.

Can you squeeze another 1%? Maybe. That said, it’s a good deal as is. Don’t worry about or negotiate the money factor, just worry about the discount. Let them get there however they want.

this “feel” like a good deal to you? just because something is 10% off and buy-rate, doesn’t mean it’s much of a deal. there are better PHEV options. the x5 PHEV leases horribly.

Fair point, Max.

We can do 13-14% off with base MF in VA if we have something which is a close match.

It seems like none of the X5s lease very well at this point in time. Do the 50s lease any poorer than the 40s and 60s, relative to their MSRPs?
