Deal check 2026 BMW 330i xDrive loaner

39/12k with roughly 5k miles on the loaner. Dealer stating .0011 MF. Besides the marked up MF, how is it looking?

Could be better considering it’s a loaner..

Probably gonna need tires in the next 5 to 10,000 miles if it’s been driven like a loaner should be driven.

That’s a good point on the tires lol. What’s a good monthly payment I should aim to be at to make it a good deal?

I don’t know their cost basis but I don’t see anything wrong with asking for $549 with first due at signing same term same approval tier.

Thanks for the insight! I’ll see what I can do.

Here is what they came back with. Dealer doesn’t seem to be motivated to move it due to it still being in the loaner fleet & no vehicle to replace it yet. Should I walk away?

New programs come out Thursday, see what it looks like then.

Might be a gamble with the feds raising the rates, no? I spoke to another bmw dealer the other day and they stated their rates would be raising through the end of the year due to it. Could be blowing smoke but who knows.

Wait, a car dealer actually told you it was better to buy now rather than wait till later?

LOL! Oldest trick in the book right ? It was a dealership 5 hours away from me that ended up not having a vehicle for me so there was zero potential sale on the board for them. The guy told me he didn’t care what I ended up doing or where I go, was just giving me a friendly heads up before we part ways. That’s the only reason it has me thinking.

Interest rate is not the only variable that goes into a lease calculation equation.

Besides, even with today’s rates, some makes/models/trims can still be leased with effectively 0% APR.

0 or near 0% interest is a function of the captive bank subventing the rate or buying it down.

That is correct. My point was that it will most likely continue to be the case in certain scenarios to keep the metal moving even if the Fed keeps hiking the rates.

Seems expensive to me, especially being a loaner. In August we were seeing new 54k msrp 330s starting around $440 for a 36/7500 w/ 2500 das.

With MSD’s perhaps and in a market that’s likely much more competitive than the midwest, this is also not only just first payment due at signing but also 39/12K which further drops the residual by 2% and the tax (upfront on the total lease cost) being capitalized.

I’d still hold to $549.

Correct. He is very close to $549 as the $572 is with $0 DAS. Im sure they would accept the $550 with 1st due
