Deal Check: 2025 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury 1

2025 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury 1 - 24 month/12k for $534 effective

The rebates (conquest and loaner) seem good but the monthly seem very off. The dealer hasn’t ran my credit so perhaps this was ran using a very high money factor?

First off, seems like leasing in Texas is always higher than other states due to how they collect taxes. Second, dealers usually assume excellent credit when providing deal proposals.(This deal looks like they assumed bad credit)
Third, is this car AWD (X0e) or RWD (X0d)? The residual value on the RWD 2025 LUX 1 is 81% MF=0.00335833 while AWD RV is 77% MF=0.0019. AWD will be cheaper despite the lower residual (assuming both options are the same price.)
Fourth, shouldn’t the rebate be $3000? (Conquest $2000, Loaner $1000)

What is the DAS for? first month and taxes? Any trade-ins? Something is up with the deal for sure.

I’m realizing now I may have mistagged the post. The dealer is located in Texas, but I live in Arkansas. I’m a newb here and in leasing in general, so I wasn’t sure if it was proper to tag the state where the dealer is or where I live.

This is for the RWD. Thanks for drawing my attention to that. I didn’t realize the drivetrain affected the RV and MF.

From looking at a AWD version at another dealership that’s a bit closer, it seems like that lower MF causes that monthly to be lower despite the MSRP and online sell price being higher than the one I’m currently looking at.

I think they’re subtracting the loaner rebate from the msrp, thus making the sale price lower. On their site they have it listed as, “Courtesy Transportation Discount: 10,000”. This is the highest I’ve seen for a loaner vehicle. I’m not sure if the 2025s can get a higher loaner rebate like that or if they’re bundling together the rebate and a discount from their end.

And yeah the DAS is the fees and taxes.

I’m not an expert but very happy to share any information I have. Not sure if this is right but I would ignore the ‘discounted’ or selling price on the dealer’s site. Build your preferred deal using the cars MSRP, and go from there. Try getting 8-12% off MSRP before incentives. The goal is to reach the monthly payments you deem comfortable without putting any extra money down. Sometimes we can get wrapped up in the details of the deal, but as long as the dealer gets you to the payment you want with preferable miles, term and car, you’re golden.

Check out the signed section of the website and search for Lyriq’s. Study those deals then make your own. Send your deal to 5-10 dealers and see who can meet your terms or at least try to meet you half way. If you don’t have the time, hire a broker. I see a broker on here that has one available for $360/$380 a month $2500 DAS. Good luck!

That’s not always the case. Some vehicles get a tax credit.

I see. Thanks for the clarification.
