Deal Check: 2025 Bronco Big Bend

,

First time leasing and wanting to get a deal check on this. Zip code is 30341.

I didn’t like the big bend because it didn’t have running boards (I am 5’0 lol). I wasn’t happy with the outerbanks quote they gave me ($680), so I walked. However, they called this morning to see if I would be open to discussing the big bend again if they put running boards on it for me during the lease. This is the quote I got. Tier 1 credit score. Only the 36 month lease is inclusive of taxes (top number: not sure why, but this is what the finance guy told me - bottom numbers are 39 months without taxes included???). They told me this includes the acquisition fee. Currently, trying to talk them into making me pay only the depreciation for the running boards.

I appreciate any feedback!

Post the deal in an LH calc link for easier review.

How much is your trade actually worth?

I was honestly surprised to get this much. It’s a 2014 Focus and not in the best condition. I thought I’d be lucky to get $1,000.

How rough is it? A 2014 Focus with those miles in decent shape goes for $10k+ at CarMax. Not that they’ll pay you that, but at least run it through CarMax/Carvana/Driveway online valuations before settling for so little.

I got side swiped on the interstate and never got it fixed. I could probably buff it out at home, but I have better things to do with my time. I expected an updated quote this afternoon after I talked them down to the depreciation value ($223) for the running boards and never heard back, so I am going to email other dealers and will push for a better trade in value. I appreciate the advice!

You can find decent after market running boards for less than $300. They’re pretty easy to DIY install or an independent shop should be able to do it for an hour’s labor charge.
