So when I plug all your numbers into the calculator I get a payment of about $430 including tax. This is with ZERO discount and using the $1400 + $3000 numbers you provided. The reason the dealer gave you the $3000 number is likely because he knows how much he can discount the car without even considering your trade. This is not a good deal.
