Deal Check: 2024 Kia EV9 Wind AWD

Hello everyone. I am on lookout for leasing an EV9 Wind AWD and saw a deal with numbers stated below. Don’t have the complete breakdown of the numbers hence the missing calculator. Trying to figure out if this is a reasonable deal.

Vehicle Cost: $66,500
Dealer Discount: $3500
Kia Customer Cash: $7500
Selling Price: $55,500

Term: 24Months
Miles: 10k/Year
Downpayment: $4000
Drive off fees: $2600
Monthly: 440 including taxes

Truly appreciate any input on this. This is my first time leasing an EV so not sure if these numbers are good or bad.
Thanks!!

Just to clarify, the due at signing is $6400?

@paranoidgarliclover Yes. Its actually $6600. Made a typo. Fixing it in the original post now.

Well this is probably one of the worst deals I have seen in a while here.

Outside of LH, this is probably an average to below average deal.

Thanks for the input @parkville . I figured as well. Most of the dealerships I have talked to have given similar or worse deals. Any suggestion on if there is any dealer on LH (nor-cal) who can help me secure a reasonable deal?

Check the Marketplace for brokers (or dealer) who works w/ Kia.

To be fair, this is apparently a key risk factor for getting a lukewarm deal on an EV.

Expand your search radius or use a broker.

9% dealer discount + $1500 bonus cash will make this deal much more palatable.

Some trims get a bigger lease cash. I think Land gets $10400 in certain zipcodes.

Thanks @paranoidgarliclover. Will take a look

Thanks @parkville . I am open to check around for the right deal but would prefer nor-cal. Bay area doesn’t seem to have any good deals on EV9 right now.

There is one deal for a Light Long Range

Thanks @pter . Can you share where you found this deal? Trying to understand the lease breakdown for this one.

It’s 6600 at signing. This is not a pretty good deal, it is over $700/mo effective.

Also this post feels like it was written by AI lol

You are talking to an AI bot

Thanks @bb86. Can you suggest any dealer or broker on LH who I can reach out to for a better EV9 deal. Willing to travel around for right deal. Appreciate it!!

Going to be hard to get good broker deals right now but they do pop up occasionally.

The EV9 is only about 6 months out and one of the cheapest 3-row EVs so it may be a while before you see really good deals. Hyundai is helping with incentives but as the Signed deal above, you can find one on your own but not easily with a broker.

Did you try calling this dealer?

@alejomx6 Not yet. I am in the bay area and this is literally on the other side of the US. Haven’t done out of state lease deals before so not sure how viable this is.

Yeah i know that’s pretty far. I was just saying, see what they can offer you with your zip code so you’ll have a better idea at what to aim for around your state. Or if you become a super supprter, you can plug in vehicle make and model and it will give you all the incentives, mf, rv for your zip code. And you take it from there.

Thanks @alejomx6 . Will take a look at this.
