Deal Check: 2024 BMW X7

, , ,

Hey everyone, first time poster. I wanted to target a CPO 2024 BMW X7 xDrive40i with capt chairs , details below. My logic was to get a depreciated X7 that’s 2024 with low mileage so I am covered under the 4 years/50k miles. Anticipated usage is less than 10k miles per year then I have a CPO for a year.

Damage reported on 8/14/2024 as minor scratch that was fixed.

Do you think I can negotiate a 7-year wrap?

Should I ask for new tires?

What are my non negotiables?

I think I can push down on the price? The financing offers right now are somewhat attractive only up to CPO 2024 models Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) Specials: 2.99% APR up to 72 months on 2022-2024.

Please help me figure what out what else I need to figure out? It’s my first time purchasing a used car and I am hopeful. I took my mechanic to see the car and he said the brakes are fine, tires could be replaced not today but soon. I would really appreciate any advice

Sale Price ~$73k located in FL.

Considering you could get a new one with the same options for 86-87k, is that really enough savings for a 2yr old car.

Agreed, you can finance a new one at 0.9%, have the full warranty, 3 years of maintenance, etc for not all that much more.

Dude ! Stay away from Braman Miami. That’s all I can say.

CPO warranty isn’t like factory, they will try not to pay claims on everything. I had a CPO x5 and got foggy headlights and they said not covered under warranty. Lol

Terrible deal

I heard only negative things about them. FTL is better.

Fair enough some of these BMW M60i are about $75k, is that a better value since it depreciates a lot?

Good to know – thanks. Never knew that I thought it was an extension of the OEM factory.

I saw that – and discount the car a bit too. The sweet spot is prob this summer? New models coming in by summer/fall, right?

The FEES … good ole FL dealers lol

These brokers are currently at 12-13% off preincentive + .9% interest rate. Not sure how much better you can get than that. They won’t start blowing them out at 20% in the summer just b/c a new model year is coming. I’m fairly certain the example Q gave already included the discount, though. Personally, I’d pay the extra for brand new.

It’s not going to get any meaningfully better than it is now, everyone is getting ahead of things.

Now is the best time as the 2027’s just started getting allocated 2 weeks ago, which is the same exact car, but there isn’t a 0.9% promo rate.

Aren’t they doing a mid-cycle refresh on the ‘27 X7s, Scott?

No, same car.

The LCI was the 2023.

One would wish they would just fix the AC vents lol rest is all good !
