Deal Check: 2023 Kia EV6 Wind RWD

Hello! I’m in SE Michigan and completely new to looking at leases in general but in a situation that might make sense for me now. I’ve been trying to do research on how to find out if this is a good deal but I’m honestly overwhelmed with info. Could you give me some insight on what i was given by this dealer?

MSRP: $50,200
Deal Discount: $5,000
Rebate: $7,500
Deal Price: $37,700
Doc Fee: $260
Title & Reg: $290
Acq Fee: $650
Residual Value: $31,124 (62%)
Annual Miles: 15,000
36 months

$0 down = $510-511
$2,000 down =$440-450
$4,000 down = $364-374

That’s a good deal. $5k off MSRP and it’s 15k/yr lease. You can double check the MF against what you find on the edmunds forum, and make sure that they’re not adding any useless add-ons, but this looks solid.

That deal is amazing

I put his numbers in the calculator and came up with better numbers. What am I missing?

Is there a way to easily calculate MF without asking or should I reach out to the sales person and ask?

I believe MF is high 0.004

Rate Findr has that information, as they have direct access to it from the captive banks. It’s a tool on the Leasehackr Calculator, available to Super Supporters.

You can calculate it yourself or you can just ask. Sometimes, they will bump the MF in exchange for a discount. It’s perfectly normal and a way to give some money to the finance guy. You just don’t want to be getting no discount and a bumped MF for no reason. Did you have to work hard for the $5k off or did they just give it to without asking?

Did this deal came with the Family/employee discount? Only available to fa,ily and employees?

They just gave it to me, didn’t even have to ask!

It was available to anyone I believe

The RV looks high is this a us bank lease?

That is what I thought as well. I’m very new to leasing in general so I’m not sure if this is a bank lease, these are the numbers I was given by a salesperson at the dealership. Should I ask this of them?

Should be a Kia Financial lease, that residual isn’t that unusual

I keep seeing 55% in the calculator vs 62% from the OP. 36/15

You may want to ask who the lease is thru. I think Us bank can be more tricky on certain lease specifics.

I’m also in SE Michigan and looking for an EV6 but I’m looking for the AWD wind. Which dealership was offering this discount? I’ve spoken to 5 dealerships and none of them are willing to work with me on the price outside of the $7500
