Got an updated quote for 12k miles, 24 months:
total cost is 11923.2; money factor is 0.00001 with 62% residual value. Tried to create a calculator link that matches the total cost. Leasehackr Calculator - Hack your next lease | Leasehackr
Could someone help me understand the fee and tax?
WA tax rate is 10.1% but the total taxes comes to 2163.2 which is a lot higher than 10.1%; also what does AfterSale/WeOwe mean? What is Capped Fees? Thanks!
39 month, 10k miles
MSRP 53270
2500 dealer discount, 2500 loyalty cash, 7500 tax rebate.
One pay total cost is 17814.81, which is 456/month.
Good deal? Dealer says the one pay money factor discount only works on a 39 month lease… which is kinda peculiar.
In the Northeast @AutoCompanion is offering $5k dealer discount.
I did a onepay on the Ioniq 5 for a 24 month term.
Money factor on the Ioniq 6 for a 24 month term is 0.00092 which is less than the onepay discount of 0.00140. So I’m not sure how that would work.
On the 36 and 39 months terms the money factor is higher, so there you should be able to make use of the full onepay lowered rate.
Btw, if you could do a onepay on a 24 month term, you should be able to get a similar effective monthly paymemt
It would default to .00001
Can you provide some more details on your avg monthly cost and was it a SEL or Ltd?
@AutoCompanion would you be able to share an estimate for the ioniq 5 rwd sel 24 month 12k lease? Thanks.
Please fill out an inquiry and we will get that right over to you. Thank you!
Thanks! Could you share the one pay deal you had for the ioniq 5? I just got an updated 24 month quote for ioniq 6
You pay taxes on the Selling price ($50,770) minus the residual ($33,027.40). Basically you don’t pay taxes on the dealer discount but you do pay taxes on the rebates.
Not sure exactly what is what. But these fees are probably for Dealer doc fee, Acquisition fee and registration/plates.
Looks like your deal sheet is for a 24 month deal?
Alos, based on the residual, it seems like you are taking the AWD. You could save around $2,500 by taking the RWD instead. The residual for the RWD is 2% higher and the MSRP is around $3,500 cheaper.
AWD may be what you need, just leaving it out there.
The 5 has a different residual and MF so it isn’t really relevant for a comparison.
Thanks! That explains the tax. The sheet has a 1800 Capped fee so was wondering what it is but as you said it’s probably some gov registration fee. will figure it out with dealer.
Initially I wanted to get a 36 month lease but dealer came back with a 39 month lease saying for one pay lease they don’t do 36 months. After seeing your response (24 month Ioniq 5) I asked for a 24 month lease instead. 39 month looks weird and I have to pay a hefty WA registration fee for 3 months…
If Ioniq 5 has better deal than Ioniq 6 I might just go with it - not super strict on the Ioniq 6
Ioniq 5 and 6 are actually pretty close in price on the onepay. The 5 has a higher residual but also has a higher MF.
