For the love of ALL that is holy, tell me the 2017 is a type.

yes was a typo I used to have a 2017…

Very sweaty palms for a moment.

Have you confirmed incentives via autobytel or the edmunds leasing forum, and residual/base money factor from the same?

Any comparable cars posted on this forum ? Is this a California deal, or Nebraska as tagged, you’ve tagged CA and used CA fees and nebraska tag.

this is a New York Deal, been a VERRY long day… tags are cleaned up. I confirmed the MF and residual with Edmunds

Your discount is extremely low to say the least. Looks like they’re using supplier pricing, which you can easily negotiate below.

A quick AutoTrader search found multiple dealers offering much lower prices, and that’s before the supplier kickback that dealers get from the General.

New Silver Ice Metallic 2021 Chevrolet Traverse AWD 1LS for Sale Wilmington, DE | Diver Chevrolet | 1GNEVFKW3MJ104372 Is one that I found.

I had a great experience with Ciocca in Princeton when I bought a Trax. Really can’t recommend them enough. Hawthorne and Schumacher in Livingston have also been very competitive with price in the past. I’d bring up the dealer where I got my Camaro, but they only have $40k LTs in stock

+1 for ciocca / Faulkner, families been buying from them for the last 14 years.

What additional discount Should I be shoring for a other 1k or more off of more how much more? Just looking to try to put a take it or leave it deal in front of the sales person. Appreciate the guidance

Look to see if there are other price references here or on a Traverse specific forum.

We always recommend the following method before you ever contact a dealership. If you do all of the work up front, you’ll have a stress free dealer experience and set yourself for success.

  1. Read Leasing 101 (Blog | LEASEHACKR) to understand how to calculate a lease payment and the variables. Monthly payment is an output, not an input!!
  2. Pick a specific vehicle that you want to target
  3. Gather the current MF, RV and incentives from Edmunds forums for your zip code
  4. Research the LH marketplace and other deals that have been made recently on your vehicle - what was their pre-incentive discount? How did their lease terms differ?
  5. Plug your numbers into the LH calculator, and use a pre-incentive discount similar to what you have seen
  6. Create a target deal, this is what you’re trying to negotiate to. You can try different terms, selling price discount, etc. and see how your monthly payment is affected. It is also possible that different trims of your vehicle may have different MF and RV (i.e. this is very common with GM), so make sure that you look into that. Come up with a set of inputs that give you the output that you want - your desired monthly payment.

With a target price determined, you now have a deal to pursue and compare dealer offers against. More importantly, you have a solid foundation to work from.

Try Hawthorne Chevrolet in Hawthorne, NJ

They’re very competitive and I’ve leased a 2013 Traverse LS and a few Equinoxes from them.

One of the higher volume dealerships in NJ

This is an email Ad I got. Maybe give them a try?

Poopy deal in my opinion. Should be closer to 4K dealer discount at base MF considering supplier
