What are your thoughts on this? I know MF is really high but Ally banks tends to give higher residuals and higher MFs.

Not looking for advice to lease another car! Love the wrangler.

Are there no incentives here? Typically the big advantage on an fca lease that justifies going with ally is the large idl cash incentive you get access to by using a non captive.

Most of the wranglers don’t have incentives because of the high residual.

Incentives on a Wrangler?! Hahahaha

OP, with a Wrangler you need to cross shop the different banks to see what offers the best MF/RV combo between CCAP, US Bank, ally, etc.

Many dealers will automatically try to push you their preferred bank without actually running the numbers on all the possible scenarios. Of course finding an FCA dealer that will play ball and is transparent in that info is no small feat in itself.

This is definitely important, you want to find a dealer that will run all banks.

OP, I see you asked me for a quote in my thread, it’s worth noting that the best leases on these are usually at least 42, but in many cases 48 months. As an example, the last Wrangler Unlimited I quoted was $90/mo more on 36 month than 48 month at the same discount. You run out of bumper to bumper, but you do still have powertrain, so it’s not like you’ll be screwed if something major happens.

Just to give you an idea of what I would shoot for. I am not soliciticing business by posting this - My deals on this truck are only for MA so I’m just trying to give you an idea of what’s possible

Find a 2020 that the dealer will take 8-10% off of

An extra piece of advice to tag on: The Jeep site has a great inventory search tool to try to find those cars, there aren’t a lot of 2020’s leftover, but there are some (I see 9 within 250 miles of me).

You should check RODO. Some crazy Wrangler deals.

Interesting, yeah the guy is telling me I should strongly consider the 39 month lease.

I can certainly take a look at all the bank options with him.

My only concerns are: don’t I end up paying more in total lease? I don’t intend to trade into another lease after…hoping to buy my next car.

Also a little but worried after the 36,000mile warranty runs out I might get screwed on something (IK it’s a wrangler not a German car but still)

What makes a long lease make more sense on a Wrangler like this?

Certainly have the opportunity to see the different banks with my guy. As far as I can tell, Ally Bank ended up being lowest payment but I’m not the one running the numbers so I can’t tell if I’m just not being told something.

What are your thoughts in the lease term? 36months too short on a wrangler?

The bank has the RV set such that a longer 42 or 48 month term ends up being cheaper per month.

So it’s really just a personal decision whether you want to pay more monthly for a 36 month term or pay less monthly but for a longer term (and potentially driving the truck out of warranty towards the end of the term).

I would just run the numbers on both scenarios. For example if you’re at $600/mo x 36 mos that’s $21,600 total payments. But if you extend to 48 mos and it drops to $500/mo, that’s $24,000.

So yes the total lease cost will typically be more for a 42 or 48 month but you’re also getting to use the car for an extra 6/12 mos.

These are good points.

Here is the 39Month 39,000 mile lease monthly: $566 all in.

Considering it’s still 1000miles per month should I just go for the 39month 39,000?

Here is 39 & 36 on the app.

I’m going to download this app…this is not for a High Altitude though, right?

Also do you have a referral code you’d like to share?

Nope, just an Altitude but I see no reason you couldn’t reach out to see what they have. I haven’t leased anything through the app but it helps to find great deals.

Thanks, much appreciated!

See this app a lot on Leasehackr
