Boston area. Base MF is .00074 . I see they marked it up to make some money. Does this seem fair?
When you’ve researched other GLC sales and some demos, how does the pre-incentive discount here compare? Seems low to me but I haven’t gone through all the comps recently.
Unfortunately this is for my friend and I haven’t done any research or shopping around. This doesn’t seem like a terrific deal to me, but I just wanted some feedback from others more knowledgeable.
I’d recommend advising your friend to spend a little time researching and looking at comps. Having a solid baseline to compare a deal to is the best way to determine if an offered deal is any good, but that does take a little time and effort to establish.
If they aren’t willing to put the effort in, I’d recommend just smiling and nodding to them, as they’re not going to listen to your feedback anyway.
I don’t have the incredible memory for numbers of many of the other posters here, but the discount is not amazing, and that plus inflated MF makes this a very unimpressive deal (although not a ripoff, either, and perhaps that’s all your friend cares about?).
Has your friend priced a 2021 model?
