Deal Check: 2019 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum

Hi Lease Hackers,
I’m new to leasing (my current car is ~20 years old), but with technology changing quickly I think it’s the right time to try a lease.

What do you think of the following deal?

2019 Volvo XC90 T6 Momentum AWD (Advanced Package, Heated Steering wheel/rear seats)

Registration: $30
License/Tire: $655
Doc Fee: $85

Mileage per year: 10k

Monthly payment: $588

Here it is plugged into the calculator: leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Volvo&miles=10000&msd=0&msrp=63000&sales_price=55009&months=36&mf=.00142&dp=5000&dealer_fee=85&acq_fee=995&taxed_inc=587.98&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=59&reg_fee=685&sales_tax=9.25&demo_mileage=0&memo=Looking%20to%20lease%20a%202019%20Volvo%20XC90&monthlyTax_radio=true

Thanks for your help!

PS I saw the other similar thread, but didn’t want to hijack it. If it’s better to merge into that one, let me know and I’ll edit the post. Thanks!

You’ll need to confirm the RV/MF/incentives with edmunds. They appear to be rolling in the incentives to the dealer discount to make the sales price seem better and I wouldnt be surprised if the mf is marked up.

Putting $5k down is a bad idea. Put your money towards MSDs instead.

Read Leasing 101 to learn why putting a down payment is an atrocious idea. Use MSD instead

Thanks for the tip, I’ll check that out. Otherwise, what do you think of the deal?

The other recently posted deal is light years better than yours

Find a deal or two on here. Go to dealers in your area — VIA EMAIL OR PHONE — and ask if they can do that deal. If not, move along. Volvo leases well. Lots of 2019s they need to move.
