Yes it is an old lease and I know we overpaid 
but the lease is expiring soon and I don’t want to repeat the same mistake this time around. So please check out the attached lease agreement and share your thoughts, red flags etc.
Also, helping to put the numbers in the calculator would be highly appreciated!

Without getting into the nuts and bolts of the contract, I think you paid/lost around $4500 more than you should have on that lease. There are deals to be had for mid/low equipped civics in the $225-245 all in range. I still think the Civic is a better vehicle to Buy. Heck, you paid over 50% of the purchase price on payments.
What was the msrp? Regardless, don’t put $2k down and pay over $300/mo a month for a civic, you can use that as a rule of thumb
The MSRP was $24,360 and with some dealer extras $25,458. No, that won’t happen again, lesson learned
