Dave Ramsey at it again

Unfortunately with the average credit score in the US being ~675, that’s probably a big assumption.

Unfortunately those individuals will not be in buy v lease conversation anyway…

Well, at least they shouldn’t be. Unfortunately, I know far too many that have been.

Based on what? There are lenders who will approve them for both

:point_up::point_up:

If they are getting tier one rate for both without any “subprime” penalties then that’s great.

What is that rule? What does the 1/10th represent? MSRP? 1/10 of Gross Income or Take home income?

A household should have over $200k income to buy an Accord?

That’s absurd. So absurd as to render the balance of the info dismissible.

Maybe it’s a Hybrid Touring

Agreed. Just look at carmakers’ advertised lease deals – they’re almost always horrible. But customers must be taking the bait.

Major shake up coming…

Ha imagine making 150k and driving a civic. Maybe if I had 9 kids…

I did for a while… and then I paid less for a Volvo S90.

Imagine thinking a Tesla Model X and a Lambo Huracan were in the same class.

Reminds me of this story that’s been going around lately:

I live in a super affluent neighborhood and there’s one vehicle in almost every driveway. Toyota Camry. But this is also old money, I’m sure many have they’re real cars at their Florida house or at least in their garage

But do they have the Camry dent?

You don’t buy the au pair a mercedes, geez

Nah the au pair usually has the suv for their perceived increased safety. The patriarch drives the Camry around here. Mom- Range Rover, the help Nissan Rogue :joy:. Sad existence for the American male bread winner

I’ve said it before but my buddy works for BMW finance and I can tell you they are doing just fine on those inflated residuals

Germany has zero to negative interest rates. They love the American arm of their finance company. The American consumer is the teet of the world. Thats one of the things trump has def gotten right. Trade is extremely skewed not in the American consumers advantage
