I was looking at doing a custom order since nobody has the vehicle in-stock and if they do it is a lower spec. Online I was seeing that brokers etc are able to get a pretty good discount listed on their website etc. If you do a custom order, can you get the same discount? How do you get dealers to followthrough with the discounting?
For some reason 2024 BMW iX custom orders seem to already be heavily discounted… at least as listed through some brokers. Just hit up those brokers and see if they can help get an order in.
But I agree normally custom orders don’t see as heavy discounts on a custom order because orders won’t suck up precious resources on a dealer floorplan and they will never be a demo unit. I also don’t know if fleet incentives work effectively on custom orders since those can be somewhat variable. The factory also has a lot less incentives on the hood of a custom order than a vehicle that is becoming long in the tooth.
Do you know if thats with non EV also?
Probably better to just DM a broker lol…
