I’m on my 3rd Costco couch, love their return policies haven’t found a couch we like. Went to all the big stores everything seems super firm or soft and deep mimicking the cloud couch which is prob good for a family room but not a living room/family room.
Any recommendations for couches you like! Just moved to a new condo and the living room dimensions are kinda funky so prob need modular couches.
I wish 1700 sq ft was something to brag about! Going from a 2br to a 3br cost me about 2500/mo more. Redic. Not sure how much longer I’m gonna last in Miami…
We had a Macys sectional couch that was indestructible, didn’t sag or stain with every day use. We got rid of it because we changed the decor. Had it for 10 years. We bought a Room & Board Metro deep couch and after 2 years it shows where you sit. It was supposed to have a special upgrade for pets, that was useless. Don’t really recommend it. IDK, everything made now seems to be designed for replacement in a few years.
Seems to be the way. I had a hand me down rowe sofa from my parents for like 15 years after they had it for 10. Most comfy couch ever and besides some staining it held up amazing. I remember they paid like $7k for it in the mid 90s so pretty pricey. I’ve sat in many couches over the last month shopping in that price range and wasn’t impressed at all
If u have kids, just get a decent leather set from Rooms to Go or something. Up to $3k probably and would last atleast 3 and easily 5 to 7 years if taken care of. DO not get electrical recliner, instead stick to manual. And F the extended warranty as its mainly a scam.
My house rule, certain things have a certain lifetime and anything beyond that life year is a bonus.
Have this couch and it’s the most comfortable couch I’ve owned, but if you’re looking for something more “Miami Condo” Macy’s Home Store is definitely the way to go.
I have a few full grain leather electric couches, one from Costco, and they’ve all been very durable. My Costco one feels like a steal to this day, as it was only $1,500 for a 4 seater w/ chaise (easily saved me $5-6k over big box). Sometimes Costco just has ridiculous deals and when they do, they sell out fast.
You’re apt looks so familiar. Seems to be the preferred style apt for social media influencers, adult film stars & OnlyFans girls…
What others have said, but Macys furniture is legit . Have to wait for their holidays sales, but you can snag a really nice sectional for $1,500-$2500 delivered. Should last you 7-8yrs easily.
I was gonna get one through Costco but I went to the local store and I didn’t think it was that comfortable for the price. I beleive my setup would have been around $6000. Maybe I’ll get one and try it for a few months, good thing about Costco is you can always return it!
I’m gonna go to macys this weekend. I just can’t order online with these companies and not try it out first. Most have 20% restocking fees if they even allow you to return it.
I have many OF girls in my building. If I look into my courtyard at 2am I can usually catch a show most of them live in brickell though in Miami. I’m on the beach so we have more normal people here
Which Costco couch do you have? I keep buying and hating them. I had my last one for a year but always hated it. Returned it when I moved bc it didn’t really fit anyway.
The couch has to face that way if I want a tv . That entire wall is taken up by my 100” tv that fit well in my last place but def not in this one
I have the same couch @Jrouleau426 from Costco, your room must be massive because it’s a huge couch Ours has held up well with a toddler and a dog for the last 2ish years though. Cushions need a fluffing every couple weeks and it’s nice that Costco sells the individual sections in case you need a replacement or want to add onto it.
